Two Biggest European iGaming Events

If online gaming is your life, apart from casino-promo-code.co.uk online, London is where you should be at the beginning of February 2019, because two of the most important online gambling events are taking place there. Both of them, ICE London 2019 (5th – 7th February) and the London Affiliate Conference (6th – 9th February), will be held in ExCeL London.

ICE London

ICE London is the leading event when it comes to everything related to gaming technology, whether it is online gaming or land-based. There were as many as 33,536 people from more than 153 countries who visited the event in 2018, which was 11% more than last year. No other gaming event can attract so many international visitors and provide opportunities for international networking and business.

This is definitely the most anticipated event of the year for anyone who is in the iGaming development business. That is why the organizers, Clarion Gaming, confirmed that the conference scheduled for 2019 will be the biggest one yet with 444 confirmed exhibitors for online gaming only.

There were a lot of exciting things happening during this year’s conference. On the first day, there was a “Future Tech and Regulations” roundtable discussion about the Blockchain technology, among other exciting topics.

Juan Espinosa Garcia of Spain’s Ministry of Finance and Civil Service moderated the Blockchain and crypto table and expressed his belief that this technology could become the backbone of gaming systems and similar platforms. He stated that the gaming sector could gain many benefits from Blockchain, including transparency and the ability to be used as a random number generator which is non-predictive.

The second day, typically reserved for exclusive announcements and reveal, saw the announcement of the launch of SG digital, which came as a result of the merger of NYX and Scientific Games in September 2017. This company offers content related to betting, sports gaming and lottery.

The announcement of Blue Print Gaming’s new game – “Flames of Phoenix,” a live multi-play – caused the biggest interest on the third day.

The anticipation grows as to what ICE 2019 will bring, but there is no doubt that there will cause plenty of excitement in the online gaming community.

London Affiliate Conference

LAC 2019 is expected to attract more than 5,200 delegates and be the biggest one yet. It offers four days of learning, and maybe even more important, non-stop networking.

This conference aims to give an abundance of information through various presentations and panels, with a focus on analysis and industry updates. One thing that sets this conference apart is the fact that there is free admission for all affiliates – and it has been like that from the first one back in 2006.

The London Affiliate Conference in 2019 offers lots of useful panels and workshops for all those in the iGaming industry, such as the presentation “Jackpot! How Innovations in iLottery are Changing Gaming for the Masses” and “Capturing the Crypto Craze: What’s the Appeal of Bitcoin Casinos and How Can You Be involved?”.

There will also be many speakers from the industry, offering their valuable insights and outlooks. To name just a few – Andy Danson, Partner and Head of the Gambling Group at Bird&Bird; Jonas Odman, General Manager of Global Poker; Ken Muir, the founder of iGaming Tracker, Michael Caselli, a leading world-renowned expert on online gaming and Tiago Almeida, the founder of Egamingservices.
